Amnesty International 08: Progress Report

IMPORTANT MEETING - C18 Friday 18th April 12:30 ALL WELCOME

In 2008, Amnesty AT have been focussing much of their attention on the STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN campaign. The campaign has been wonderfully publicised around school with our 'hands' campaign. The new display in the reception area shows how students of the Arthur Terry School feel about violence against women. We have had passionate responces to this campaign and we have no intention to leave it here. We will continue to campaign in our school to raise awareness.

Huge thanks to Dan who has created an impressive array of publicity materials for this campaign.

I would like to extend a huge thanks to Sophie Hannah Abbie and Abbie who have worked so hard to complete our birthday cards. C.1.8 became a card factory for several weeks but they are all done now and are beginning to sell.

Our fashion show plans are beginning to take shape and it it this, amongst other things, that we will need to discuss in our next meeting.

See you all on Friday. Bring your friends.
